Where It All Began: Rooted in Love, Raised with Purpose

At Crooked Creek Bloodhounds, our story is more than  just a business, it's a living legacy of love, teamwork, and devotion.

We first met through a series of unexpected turns that only God could orchestrate. From the beginning, it was clear we shared a passion for purpose-driven living, hard work, and raising a family with strong values. But it was Hansel who first fell in love with bloodhounds. Their loyalty, intelligence, and unmatched tracking instinct captivated him and eventually, captivated us both.

As our love and life grew together, so did our dream. We began working as a team while supporting each other in every aspect of the journey, from late-night puppy feedings to early-morning training sessions. What started with one hound soon became a calling. And in time, we saw that we weren’t just raising dogs,we were building something lasting.

Over the years, we’ve poured ourselves into creating a strong, ethical foundation rooted in respect for the breed and the families who welcome them. With the birth of our daughter, Vayda, that foundation deepened. She’s grown up with the puppies, her laughter echoing through our home, her little hands already knowing the gentle nuzzle of a hound. Our family isn’t separate from this mission...it’s at the heart of it.

Now, after years of vision and preparation, we’ve expanded to our own land in Big Sandy, Texas. Crooked Creek isn’t just a name, it’s the next chapter of our family’s dream. Here, surrounded by nature and purpose, we are building out our legacy with intention while continuing to raise exceptional bloodhounds, steward our land, and live out the values that have carried us this far.
