Ace is the now the cornerstone of our bloodhound program, and he has exceeded every expectation from the moment he joined our family. With his powerful frame, expressive eyes, and classic bloodhound features, Ace represents the very best of the breed. But what truly sets him apart is his temperament as he is steady, loyal, and deeply intuitive with the people around him. From the start, Ace showed remarkable scenting ability and a natural drive that aligns perfectly with the traditional working bloodhound. He is focused when tracking, confident in new environments, and responsive to guidance, making him a dependable partner whether he’s learning a new task or interacting with children. His calm, gentle nature at home combined with his working-dog instinct makes him an exceptional all-around hound.

Ace carries a strong pedigree with generations of proven temperament, structure, and working aptitude behind him. His structure is textbook: long ears, loose skin, deep chest, and powerful bone structure — everything you want in a stud who will pass consistent, quality traits to his puppies. His health, build, and personality make him an incredible asset to our team, and we are grateful for the foundation he brings to our future litters.

In daily life, Ace is affectionate and very people friendly. He loves attention, thrives on routine, and has quickly become a favorite around here. Whether he’s following our cats scent trail, relaxing on the porch, or shadowing our daughter around the yard, he brings a sense of stability and joy wherever he goes. His puppies are expected to inherit his confidence, good nature, and impressive working drive, making them well-suited for both family companionship and service or scent-working homes.

We could not be more excited to introduce Ace as our stud. His presence honors our past, strengthens our present, and builds the foundation for the next generation of remarkable bloodhounds here at our kennel.

From the start, Sonja has shown an innate sensitivity. She is deeply bonded to her humans and particularly drawn to children, often positioning herself nearby as if she instinctively knows who needs comfort or protection. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming, always offering a calming presence and a sense of safety to anyone in her orbit. When she moves, it’s with purpose but never in a rush. She observes before acting, takes in her surroundings with calculated curiosity, and has an almost meditative patience that sets her apart.
Don’t let her gentle spirit fool you, though, Sonja is all hound when it’s time to track. Her nose is sharp, her instincts true, and her endurance growing stronger every day. She has a natural gift for trailing, with a methodical approach and an impressive ability to stay focused under pressure. She’s still in the learning phase, but she approaches her training with quiet intensity and a desire to please that makes her a joy to work with.
What makes Sonja especially unique is her ability to harmonize with the energy of the pack while still holding her own. She’s not dominant, but she’s not submissive either; she’s just steady. She’s the emotional center, the grounding force, and the soul that softens the edges of the team. She’s the kind of dog who stays close when you’re hurting, who lifts her head to the wind as if listening to something beyond this world, and who reminds you, without a single bark, that there is great power in gentleness.

Sonja is more than a momma dog, she’s a guardian, a healer, and a kindred spirit. As part of the HH Bloodhounds family, she brings balance, beauty, and heart to every trail she walks, every person she comforts, and every soul lucky enough to know her.

Thor is the newest addition to our bloodhound family, and we feel incredibly blessed to have him as part of our breeding program. We were fortunate enough to acquire him from our longtime friends and fellow breeders at Boerner's Bloodhounds, a kennel we have respected and admired for many years. When the opportunity arose to bring Thor home, it was one we simply couldn't pass up.

Born on December 7, 2025, Thor is AKC registered and comes from an outstanding lineage. While his pedigree certainly speaks for itself, it is his personality that truly captured our hearts. From the moment he arrived, Thor settled in as if he had always belonged here. He carries himself with a calm, steady confidence and possesses the kind of gentle, easygoing temperament that is becoming harder and harder to find.

Sonja may only be young, but she carries herself like a soul much older. She is wise, intuitive, and deeply connected to the world around her. Where Conan is all power and certainty, Sonja brings balance through grace, gentleness, and quiet determination. She’s the kind of bloodhound who doesn’t need to demand attention to be noticed as her presence speaks volumes through her soft eyes, careful watch, and uncanny ability to pick up on subtle emotional shifts in people.

One of the first things we noticed about Thor was how much he reminds us of Conan. He shares that same sweet, mild nature and loving disposition that made Conan such a special dog. Thor is the kind of bloodhound who is happy to be wherever his people are. Whether he's following us around the property, relaxing on the porch, exploring the woods, or simply soaking up affection, he does it all with a quiet, gentle spirit.

Living on a homestead means our dogs are more than just breeding dogs; they are family members, daily companions, and an important part of our way of life. Thor has fit seamlessly into that lifestyle. He has a kind and thoughtful demeanor, gets along wonderfully with the other dogs, and approaches new situations with curiosity and confidence. His affectionate nature, intelligence, and willingness to please make him a joy to work with and live alongside.

As Thor continues to grow and mature, we are excited to watch him develop into the remarkable adult we know he has the potential to become. We believe he embodies many of the traits that make the bloodhound breed so beloved: loyalty, gentleness, intelligence, and an unmatched devotion to his family. Sometimes the most special dogs are the ones born right here at home, and that is exactly how we feel about Valkyrie! As a keeper from our previous litter between Ace and Sonja, she represents everything we love about our bloodhound family and the future we envision for our breeding program.

From the moment she was born, Valkyrie captured our hearts. While every puppy in the litter was loved, there was always something about her that stood out. Her sweet nature, gentle spirit, and eagerness to be by our side made it clear early on that she belonged here. What started as "we'll see how she develops" quickly turned into knowing we couldn't imagine letting her go.

Valkyrie is the definition of a sweetheart. She has a kind, loving temperament and a gentle way about her that draws people to her instantly. She is happiest when she is with her family, whether she's tagging along for chores around the homestead, exploring the property, or simply stretching out nearby while we go about our day. Her affectionate personality and desire to be close to her people make her an absolute joy to have around.

One of the things we admire most about Valkyrie is her wonderful manners and willingness to learn. She is attentive, obedient, and eager to please, making her a pleasure to train and work with. Even at a young age, she carries herself with a calm confidence and maturity that continues to impress us. She has a gentle, respectful nature while still possessing the curiosity and playful spirit that make bloodhounds so lovable.

As the daughter of Ace and Sonja, Valkyrie carries forward many of the qualities we value most in our dogs. She has inherited their loving dispositions, intelligence, loyalty, and sound temperament. We see so much potential in her and are excited to watch her continue to mature into the beautiful young female we know she is destined to become.

Growing up on our homestead, Valkyrie is being raised as more than just a future part of our breeding program; like all our hounds, she is family. She spends her days surrounded by the sights and sounds of country life, learning confidence, adaptability, and the steady temperament we strive to produce in every generation.

Valkyrie is sweet without being timid, confident without being dominant, and affectionate without ever demanding attention. She has a gentle soul, a loving heart, and the kind of temperament that makes a bloodhound truly special.
